Why it’s important to buy a registered dog and to buy from a responsible breeder.
You will get a lifetime of breed experience and guidance.
We know and understand the Smooth Fox Terriers temperament, character, and behaviour; we understand what they need, want, and require, and we can help guide if the breed is a good fit for your family and lifestyle.
We can help you choose the best puppy for your family.
We know all puppies have different attitudes/personalities. As good breeders, we know the breed and know our puppies. It can be impossible for potential puppy parents to guess if an individual puppy in a litter will grow up to be assertive or mellow, high energy or easy-going from the naked eye. We have spent a lot of time observing the puppies, and we can help match with the best puppy for your family.
A great temperament in a Smooth Coat Fox terrier is playful, self-confident, mischievous, curious, independent and bold, read more here.
Your puppy will look like the breed standard.
Here at Charlemagne, we are breeders and exhibitors of purebred Smooth Coat Fox Terriers. This means we have a dedication to breed for breed type, soundness and temperament, and we will continue to produce puppies who not only have success in the show ring but, just as necessary in our eyes, make excellent family pets.
There will be no negative surprises regarding your puppies adult size, grooming or exercise requirements, temperament. As we breed purebred Smooth Coat Fox Terriers.
You will know your puppy’s history.
As responsible breeders, we have spent years researching pedigrees, going back many generations to find the best potential matches that will produce healthy puppies that are good representations of the breed. The pedigree will show your puppy’s mother (called the dam), the father (called the sire), a complete map of grandparents, etc. You can see an example here on our ‘Lace’s’ – ‘RBISS CH. Charlemagne Chantilly Lace’ Pedigree page
The start is essential.
Your puppy will have received excellent care from the moment it was born. Breed-specific nutrition, interaction with other dogs and age groups within a home and family environment, best medical attention, and lots of supervised playtimes makes for all the elements that make a happy, healthy adult dog.
You can have lifetime access to expert help.
As good breeders, we care about our puppies even after they venture off to their new homes. We encourage you to contact us, and we can offer advice if needed, including health, grooming, training, nutrition, and behaviour.
